Our brilliant creations are inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us and imagined by the people residing and visiting here. We cherish life’s simple joys celebrated among friends and family within our community, and the awesome opportunity to help make these unique moments sweet and memorable ones. Being nestled amidst several breathtaking mountain ranges means we’ve weathered a few storms to deliver to some really remote locations but the Colorado climate is ideal for handcrafting sugar flowers and other edible decor; used in our one-of-a-kind cake designs. Our creative genius starts right in the heart of the Vail Valley, but we ship our chocolates all over the United States!
Chef’s Mojo
At Cornerstone Chocolates and Confections, Chef Felicia Kalaluhi enthusiastically shares her passion for quality ingredients and bold flavors to create fun dessert combinations, taking your palette on a tasteful journey that you’re sure to enjoy. She is a graduate of the intense training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (hyde park,’NY) and has extensive professional experience as a pastry chef in the hospitality industry at various venues including The Lodge at Vail, The Garden City Hotel, and Vail Cascade Resort and Spa. She has also fostered knowledge of dessert wines while working at Clinton Vineyards in Clinton Corners, New York before establishing Cornerstone Chocolates & Confections and teaching as a Chef Instructor at Colorado Mountain College.
